Valentine Wine Walk

Join Pismo Beach Chamber of Commerce for their annual wine walk, February 15, 2019 from 5 – 8pm. Enjoy a sunset walk around Pismo Beach tasting over 300 food and wine samplings along the way.

Finish the walk with coffee, dessert and a rooftop raffle drawing.

Places to Visit in Pismo Beach

Viewing Pismo Beach Must See Wildlife

Pismo Beach is famous for the clams—and its clam chowder!—making clamming a popular pastime. Viewing the ocean animals just offshore is another draw for visitors of all ages, including migrating whales, pelicans, sea otters, elephant seals, and more. Along the coast, you’ll also find tide pools, sand dunes, and convenient access to wildlife spotting from the many parks along the ocean.

Visit Pismo State Beach for seaside sand dunes, hiking, swimming, surfing and wildlife viewing, such as the Northern elephant seal that spends eight to 10 months per year in the open ocean. The Pismo Beach Monarch Butterfly Grove is part of the park and attracts an annual migration in late October through February. Tens of thousands of butterflies cling in dense clusters to the eucalyptus trees planted along California’s Central Coast.
